HINT
Locate the 1-inch ring in the center of the scarf.
The center ring is different from the 2 end rings.
Pull the center ring with one hand and push the scarf FABRIC away from the center ring with the other hand.
PUSH HARD when scarf is new. Scrunch the fabric toward the end rings. Do not try to push the cordlock. Push the fabric only to prevent a "rope burn".
Pinch the cordlock and slide it away from the center ring to about 3 inches above the pushed fabric
The cord is used to make the scarf into a Pom-Pom.
Place one end ring onto the cordlock to make a loop"A".
The fabric will make loop A. Turn loop A sideways (perpendicular) and flatten it.
Wrap the other (hanging) end around loop A and put the 2nd end ring onto the cordlock.
This step makes the SpiritScarf into a POM-POM
Slide the cordlock down toward the scarf fabric as TIGHTLY as possible.
(NOTE: Failure to tighten down all the way prevents forming a pom-pom.)
Release the cordlock to lock the fabric into place.
Pull the drawstring starting at the cordlock and bring it up through both end rings to make the handle.
This step makes the handle. Now you're ready to cheer!!
